The Executive Lab, titled “Succession Planning Workshop: From Theory to Practice,” was held in collaboration with People for Business, as part of the Leadership Routes Group initiative of ACEO, led by Dorina Economopoulou.

A hands-on leadership succession planning workshop designed for boards of directors facing one of the most underestimated risks: the absence of a documented succession plan at the top. Losing a key executive without a prepared successor is not merely an operational gap; it is a business continuity risk that affects company valuation, investor confidence, and organizational stability.

Through practical examples and the exchange of experiences, the workshop highlighted that performance is not the same as potential, future leaders are developed through experience, and strong leadership pipelines reduce business risk and accelerate growth.
