Mr. Athanasios Exarchos is President and Managing Director of Vantage Towers in Greece, a subsidiary of Vodafone, since 2020.
Previously, during his tenure at Nokia since 1998, he held a number of leadership positions including Mediterranean and Black Sea Regional Manager and Strategy Manager for Europe & Latin America while he was a member of the Nokia Hellas strategic management team since 2003 and President & Managing Director from 2009 till 2020.
He began his career in 1990 at Siemens R&D and was a founding member of the department currently known as Nokia Technology Center Athens.
He holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in System Design from the University of Manchester in Great Britain. He is also a certified business Coach and a certified Project Management Professional.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, long-distance running, photography, coaching, mentoring and volunteering. He is married and has two children.
