Contribution in society

The further highlighting and strengthening of the institutional role of ACEO as a social responsibility body in order to contribute to Society and the Economy is a strategic priority for the Association.

In this context, with a view to promoting the fruitful dialogue on crucial issues, the Association of Chief Executive Officers is actively involved in partnerships and cooperation with public and private bodies in Greece and abroad in order to:

Α) Strengthen & support entrepreneurship in Greece, with an emphasis on young people & on innovation and on voluntary transfer of knowledge & experience to young people

Β) Be interconnected and supported throughout the entrepreneurial ecosystem

C) Have close ties with Public and Private Entities that promote entrepreneurship

Organisation of the annual ACEO “Bridges for Collaboration” event, for the 4th consecutive year, on September 28, 2022, with a view to improving the public and private sector collaboration

Development and deepening of the cooperation with the Public Administration that enhances its institutional role, with priority given to 3 Ministries

Hellenic Corporate Governance Council (HCGC): Participation of Mr. John Anastasopoulos, Advisor to the ACEO Board, in the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council (HCGC) and assistance in the completion of the Hellenic Corporate Governance Code

The Association of Chief Executive Officers (ACEO) in Europe

The Association of Chief Executive Officers (ACEO), being an active member of CEC European Managers, monitors the situation and is kept regularly informed of developments as well as of all events concerning top management, while, by presenting its views on crucial issues to the European Commission, the Association is involved with the new, emerging trends that shape the business economy and takes an active part in it.

I) Ministry of Interior

• Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation
• The Association of Chief Executive Officers will act as a sounding board regarding the planning and implementation of the upcoming reforms in the Triangle Assessment – Grading – Career Path
• Provision of ACEO members’ participation in the evaluation and selection committees of Public Administration Executives (emphasis on soft skills)
• Participation of ACEO in the event held by National Centre for Public Administration & Local Government (EKDDA) on “the basic development skills in positions of responsibility in the Public Sector”, talking about the cooperation actions of ACEO with the Public Sector for the common good as well as the contribution of the Private Sector executives as regards their know-how and expertise
